21 April 2011 – Institute of Asian Studies, Chulalongkorn University, in conjunction with Siam Intelligence Unit (SIU) organized an international seminar “Looking Towards ASEAN community 2015: Constraints, Obstacles and Opportunities” at Maha Chulalongkorn Building, Chulalongkorn University.

30 March 2011 – SIU and Asia Watch Group, Institute of Asian Studies, Chulalongkorn University co-hosted the public seminar “Thailand’s Direction” (ประเทศไทยจะไปทางไหนกัน) at Chulalongkorn University. The event was opened by the chairman of Chulalongkorn University. The panelists are: Gen. SIU organized two invited-only forums on world economics this month.

SIU ICT Researcher Isriya Paireepairit joined the panel speakers at Telecommunications Consumer Institute’s 3G Seminar.

In 2009 and early 2010, SIU has introduced “scenario planning” as one methodology for peace negotiation and reconciliation in Thailand crisis. Our main output is the book Think Tank and the seminar Seminar “Get Over Thailand Conflict”, also Online TV program and several article published.
