In this interview, Nidhi talks about the dynamics of Thai identity and its relation with Thai politics. He also talks about the influence of Buddhism in Thai society and Thai social hierarchy.

SIU Meeting with Prof. Emeritus W. Scott Thompson

25 April 2011 – SIU had a chance to meet and talk with Prof. Emeritus W. Scott Thompson, an expert of international relations at Siam University during his Thailand visit.

Prof. Scott was a former member of both Ford and Reagan Administrations. He also was an Adjunct Professor of International Politics at Georgetown University and on the faculty of Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University.

Prof. Scott also gave an interview on ASEAN relations and global politics. The edited transcript (in Thai) will appear shortly on Siam Intelligence website.
